Which Spectra Should You Get?

I had a client tell me that they had thought the pumps were identical but chose the pink Spectra because they thought it was prettier, and then it was a constant source of irritation to be plugged in!! And I get it because who has time to research the difference between all the pumps and when/why to choose them, so to simplify:

The Spectra S1 (blue) and S2 (pink) are identical in function EXCEPT the S1 is “mobile” so does not need to be plugged in to use. The S2 must be plugged in the whole pumping session and does not recharge. Other than that, these pumps have the same settings, motor power, etc. The Spectra S1 is *slightly* larger than the S2 due to the built in battery but it’s barely noticeable.

The S2 is typically fully covered by insurance, but if you expect to pump frequently, it may be worth the upgrade fee for the S1.
