Welcome to Bridges Lactation! I’m glad you’re here. I’m Abbie, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), and mom of two. Feeding your baby can feel overwhelming, and my goal is simplify the wealth of (often contradictory!) infant feeding advice you come across so you can find what works and feed your baby in a way that is rewarding, joyful, and sustainable for you and your family.

Parents deserve access to evidence-based infant feeding education that is not accompanied by shame or blame.
Breastfeeding is a reciprocal relationship that should be mutually beneficial to both you and your baby.
Your family’s infant feeding goals and unique context should be prioritized over broad recommendations. My goals as an IBCLC are to help you reach YOUR goals as a family.
